Scott Trackwell
Scott is the Chief Financial Officer at New Height Energy. Prior to joining the company, he served as an Investment Banking Executive Director at Moelis & Company and as an Associate in Scotiabank’s upstream investment banking division (formerly ScotiaWaterous). He also served as Vice President of Finance at Sable Permian Resources. Scott sits on the board of New Height Energy.
Education & honors
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas. His academic background has provided a strong foundation for a career spanning more than 16 years in the upstream energy industry.
Job experience
Throughout his career, Scott has advised and participated in more than $10 billion of upstream mergers and acquisitions (M&A), acquisitions and divestitures (A&D), and capital markets transactions. His expertise includes corporate finance, strategic transactions, capital raising, and financial leadership within the upstream oil and gas sector.
